Sive Mosaics

Hello and Welcome, I live on the South West coast of Ireland, on the ring of Kerry and The Wild Atlantic Way. I was born in Dublin but Cahersiveen is my home and it was my mothers birthplace. It is truly a beautiful place, between the mountains and the sea. The business name Sive Mosaics comes from CaherSIVEen. I learnt the craft of mosaics in Italy using the traditional hammer and hardie and have been designing and making mosaics for over 17 years. My work includes commissions, shop signs, bespoke abstract pieces, floor inserts and wall art. The materials I use include Venetian smalti glass, marble, swarkoski crystals, ceramic, stained glass and slate. Mosiac is an ancient craft and although I work in the classical style, I also enjoy the modern, abstract methods.
